| 2006: Second-team all-BIG EAST choice ... ended the campaign second in the BIG EAST and eighth nationally in passes defended (3 interceptions, 15 breakups) ... finished sixth on the team in tackles (59) ... recorded two interceptions, both stopping drives deep in UC territory, vs. Rutgers ... tallied nine tackles at Louisville... a first-team preseason all-BIG EAST selection by Phil Steele's College Football, which also rated him the No. 38 cornerback in the country ... named to the preseason All-BIG EAST second team by The Sporting News.
2005: Won the starting position at cornerback during preseason practice and became a mainstay in the secondary... earned second team Freshman All-American recognition by Football News and was named honorable mention Freshman All-American by The Sporting News... a second team All-BIG EAST selection... took home a share of the UC's Defensive Newcomer of the Year award... ended his rookie year second nationally in passes defended, averaging 1.5 per game... team's sixth-leading tackler with 51 stops... launched his career with a five-tackle performance in the season opener vs. Eastern Michigan... recorded eight tackles, seven of them solos, at Penn State... posted a career-high 11 tackles at Miami (Ohio)... made 11 PBUs over a four-game period...made his first career interception to help seal the win over Connecticut.
Wayne High School: Two-time all-Greater Western Ohio Conference cornerback for head coach Jay Minton... helped the Warriors to a 24-9 record and two league titles during his three seasons... amassed 205 tackles and 10 interceptions, blocked four field goals and returned a kickoff for a TD during his career.. a state 300-meter hurdles champion as a junior...helped school's 4x400 meter relay team to a second place finish at the state finals during his sophomore year.
