2006: Started the opener at outside linebacker ... competed as a backup in the final 11 games ... posted five tackles each in back-to-back performances at Ohio State and Virginia Tech ... registered two stops vs. Akron ... a regular contributor on special teams ... Bearcat Academic Honor Roll (Fall 2006, Winter 2007). 2005: Competed in all 11 games at middle linebacker, making starts vs. Western Carolina and at Miami (Ohio)... recorded a career-high six tackles vs. West Virginia, and matched that the following game at USF... recorded four tackles, all solos, vs. Western Carolina... also appeared on several special teams... named to the BIG EAST Conference All-Academic Football Team... Topcat Scholar (Fall 2005)... Bearcat Academic Honor Roll (Winter 2006, Spring 2006). 2004: Redshirted...twice named scout team player of the week...C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll (2004-05)... Bearcat Academic Honor Roll (Fall 2004, Winter 2005). Pickerington High School: Three-year letterman at Pickerington High, under the coaching of Jay Sharrett...earned first team all-conference and all-district honors as a senior while leading the school to the state playoffs...selected for the Mid-Ohio and Central Ohio all-star games...also lettered in basketball, baseball and track...earned distinguished scholar honors.
