| 2006: Filled the starting spot at defensive end for all 13 games ... finished second in sacks (5.5) and fourth in tackles for loss (8.5) ... recorded a career-high seven takedowns, highlighted by 2.5 TFLs vs. Eastern Kentucky ... registered four stops at Ohio State ... made a fumble recovery at Louisville ... tallied four hits including a sack vs. USF ... notched five tackles and a forced fumble at West Virginia ... carded a sack and three total tackles in the International Bowl win.
2005: Competed at end, outside linebacker and interior pass rusher... played in 10 games, missing the season finale due to injury... posted five tackles, four of them solos, at Syracuse... also tallied a sack and a forced fumble vs. the Orange... recorded three tackles including one for loss at Miami (Ohio)... paced the team with three forced fumbles.
2004: Named to the C-USA All-Freshman Team... first-year freshman saw action in the final eight games as a backup on the defensive line and with several of the kicking teams... recorded four tackles with 1.5 sacks vs. USF... his fumble recovery as a member of the kickoff team set up UC's first TD in the win over Southern Miss...recipient of UC's Newcomer of the Year award for defense.
Warren G. Harding High School: Three-year starter at defensive end and tight end... Ohio Division I Defensive Player of the Year... two-time all-conference and all-county selection... capped his prep career with the Northeast Ohio Defensive Player of the Year award... helped the Raiders to a 36-4 record during his four years... an all-Steel Valley Conference and all-county choice as a junior, helping team to a 14-1 record and a runner-up finish in the state playoffs.
