Notre Dame and Cincinnati don’t recruit a lot of the same high school prospects, but one player they do have mutual interest in is Matt James from St. Xavier High School (Cincinnati, Ohio). Noted for wide receivers and fast kids, Coach Derek Moyers says he has no trouble promoting Kody Woods to colleges at the highest level. Rutgers needs to replace the speed lost by out-going senior reciever Tim Brown, and went a long way in doing so by getting a non-binding oral commitment from one of the fastest players on its recruiting board.
