2011 Commit No. 8

Head coach Butch Jones landed his eighth verbal pledge for the class of 2011 in the form of offensive lineman Parker Ehinger.

Parker Ehinger, a 6-foot-7 265 pound offensive tackle from Rockford (MI) High School, gave his verbal commitment to the University of Cincinnati on Friday.

Ehinger, a three-star prospect and the No. 56 ranked offensive tackle by Scout.com, becomes the third offensive lineman and second offensive tackle in the 2011 class.

Ehinger had offers from Ball State, Central Michigan, and Toledo but also was receiving interest from Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State Purdue and Iowa.
