Bearcats Enter The Polls

After their week one victory over Big East foe Rutgers, the University of Cincinnati has entered the AP and Coaches Top 25 polls.

It didn’t take long for a Big East team to enter the polls after being shutout in the preseason. The University of Cincinnati has now placed the first Big East team in the polls for the 2009 season after a decisive victory over Big East foe Rutgers 47-15.

The Bearcats are now ranked 23rd in each poll with Pittsburgh and West Virginia coming in at 28th and 33rd. in the AP Poll and 32nd and 36th in the Coaches Poll.

The Bearcats take on Southeast Missouri State this Saturday night before taking on Oregon State on September 19th on the road. Oregon State is ranked 24th in the Coaches Poll this week.
