Since the NFL Draft no player has seen his stock climb as high as former University of Cincinnati defensive end Connor Barwin. The Michigan native used his gut instincts and ran at UC’s pro day despite having turned in a highly thought of run at the NFL Combine.

That choice helped push Barwin’s stock even higher in the eyes of many. On Saturday what was once a dream became a reality as Barwin was selected in the second round of the NFL Draft by the Houston Texans with the 46-th overall selection and the fourteenth pick in the second round.

As Bearcat fans know, Barwin is a hard worker and one of those players who will give all-out effort.

Bearcat Insider will work to be in contact with Connor to get his thoughts about his future with the Texans.
