Former Bearcats Chase Super Bowl

With the NFL playoffs advancing towards the Super Bowl in a few weeks the University of Cincinnati has a few alumni in the hunt for the ultimate championship. We look how each did as their teams advanced.

Haruki Nakamura – Ravens

The only former Bearcat on the Ravens roster, Nakamura played a bigger role in the team advancing with a win over Tennessee. For the game the former Bearcats safety recorded 5 solo tackles. Up next will be a battle with Pittsburgh for the third time this season.

Brent Celek – Eagles

The former Bearcats tight end caught a touchdown pass from Donavan McNabb to go with 2 other catches on the day. Celek continues to see his time on the field increase along with his importance to the Eagles offense during their great late season and playoff run.

Trent Cole – Eagles

The former defensive star for the Bearcats continues to play a key role in the Eagles defense. On Sunday Trent posted 4 total tackles in the Eagles victory.

Andre Frazier – Steelers

Frazier may not be getting a lot of time on the field but he's enjoying being in the league and on a successful team since leaving the Bearcats. After spending one season with Pittsburgh in 2005, Frazier spent the 2006 and part of the 2007 season with the hometown Bengals before resigning with the Steelers to finish out the 2007 season. During the regular season the former Hughes High School product posted 10 total tackles.
