Audio - Mike Mickens

Bearcat Insider has been along for the ride with Mike Mickens prior to him becoming a Bearcat. We spoke with the senior about his career and his final game for the Red & Black.

Prior to starting Bearcat Insider, I was the voice of Huber Heights Wayne football games. During that time Mike Mickens was a player I got to know well as he won many of our Player of the Game awards and in doing so ate a lot of Subway and Frickers wings.

In a way Mickens and I have been on this ride together.

But as many know, Mike Mickens almost ended up playing at Bowling Green and not Cincinnati if not for the late recruitment of Mark Dantonio.

We spoke with the senior as he gets ready to play his final game in the Red & Black on one of the biggest stages.
