Bearcat Insider is always on the lookout for those who have a passion for University of Cincinnati sports. Today we announce the newest member of the Bearcat Insider team in our new intern James Farmer. Here is more on James and what Bearcat Insider feels he’ll bring to our membership.

James Farmer was born in 1988 in Cincinnati, Ohio and was immediately a Bearcats sports fan. With two parents Karen (Mom) and Eric (Dad) being Cincinnati grads and most importantly Bearcat fans, the future was laid out the direction James would take in life.

Now a full time student at UC, James is studying to become an engineer once he graduates from UC.

Before and even more now James has found an interest in UC sports programs which developed into him looking for stories about Bearcat recruits and those who make up the rosters of current UC teams. Looking for a way to express his interest in all things Bearcats, James looked at doing blogs and just posting on message boards. It was there that Bearcat Insider founder Dave Berk saw and contacted James about expanding his role.

Dave had the following to say about James joining the Bearcat Insider team. “We’ve always watched the way people have expressed themselves on our message boards and throughout the Bearcat communities on the web. James has shown a passion for UC sports and the willingness to work and provide stories of interest to our members on several different fronts. I know from talking with James he’s very excited about this chance to be part of Bearcat Insider and looks forward to bringing you some great content.”

Prior to attending Cincinnati James was an honor roll student at Walnut Hills High School. Walnut Hills is known nationally for its high academics and high test scores.

James enjoys covering all UC sports and bringing news to every member of the Bearcat family. Since James has joined the Bearcat Insider team he’s tried to bring its members information that is not often covered or noticed.

James had the following to say about his joined Bearcat Insider.

“I am very excited to be a member of the Bearcat Insider family. Even though I have not been a member of this site that long I still respect the coverage Dave, Doug and Tim have brought to UC.”

Be on the lookout for the first of what should be many stories from James in the very near future.
