The Big East announced their honors for this past weekend and Bearcats linebacker Ryan Manalac picked up Defensive Player of the Week Honors.

The Junior from Pickerington, Ohio had a game-high 11 tackles as the Bearcats defeated the 21-st ranked team in the country Rutgers 28-23.

While the overall game was great, it was his interception with 1:19 left in the game sealing the Bearcats victory fans will always remember.

On the night the Bearcats continued leading the country in takeaways by posting another three turnovers in the win. On the season the Bearcats have 25 takeaways.
