learned he would start at quarterback against Miami (Ohio) 25 minutes before
kickoff and he responded by completing 25 of 35 passes for a career-high 290
yards and touchdown passes of six and 13 yards in the Bearcats’ 47-10 win. He
added 16 rushing yards to finish with 306 yards of total offense for Cincinnati,
which improved to 3-0.

Dingle
recovered a fumble on Maryland’s first offensive play to begin a day in which he
finished with six tackles, including five solo stops, a sack and 2.5 tackles for
loss in West Virginia’s 31-14 win against the Terps.

accounted for 10 points in a 22-17 win against Temple that improved the Huskies
to 3-0 for the first time since 1998. He was 3-for-3 on field goals, including a
50-yard kick that gave Connecticut a lead in the third quarter.

against Norfolk State.
