The 6’ 5”/265 pound offensive lineman from Knoxville Catholic gave a verbal commitment today to play his college football at the University of Cincinnati.

Bearcat Insider told members that T.J. Franklin visited the Cincinnati campus the weekend of January 12th. T.J. had another official visit at Marshall this weekend but didn’t waste any time in making his college decision. “I’m committing to Cincinnati. I talked with my parents about it after we came back from Marshall today. They said it was my decision, and I feel the most comfortable at Cincinnati. I think it’s the best fit for me.”

Franklin said he had already called Bearcat offensive line coach and offensive coordinator, Jeff Quinn, to inform Quinn of T. J.’s decision. “I called Coach Quinn to tell him, and he’s happier than a pig in warm mud right now.”
