Bearcat Insider has learned that Tyree Evans, a 6-3 shooting guard from
Winchendon (Mass.) Prep, will finally be returning to play after a month-long
hiatus.
The Bearcat signee has not seen action since January 10th because of an
illness that required surgery. An infection further complicated the
problems.
However, he has now been cleared this afternoon by a doctor, meaning he will
be returning to action immediately. It's unknown how many minutes he will
play at first, as he gets back into shape because of missing over a month.
We have confirmed with Evans that he is indeed cleared to play.
"Yes, I just got cleared by the doctor today," Evans said late this
afternoon. "So, i'm good to go."
Bearcat Insider will continue to track Evans' progress throughout the
remainder of the season.
