You ask and we deliver. Several people have asked about Trent Cole and his
future. The former Bearcat defensive end is doing well and leaving Bearcat
tracks in the process.
As an undersize defensive end, Trent had heard a change would be needed if he
wanted a pro career. This week Trent is learning a new position and in the
process seeing his stock climb to an all-time high.
Bearcat Insiders Jeff Berk spoke with his childhood friend today in between
practices at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. Jeff reports that Trent is
doing extremely well at his outside linebacker spot and giving offensive linemen
fits. While Trent is still running some reps from his defensive end position,
his performance from his new spot has NFL teams taking notice. Today Trent saw 6
NFL teams set up meetings from his performance on the practice field.
Bearcat Insider will catch up with Trent after he completes his Senior Bowl
experience. Don't be surprised if Trent comes away with an MVP award from the
week.
