Luke Arciniega
Position:
Middle Linebacker
School:
Sierra College
Notable:
Arciniega chose Syracuse over an offer from Memphis. A big, physical linebacker, he looks to be in the mix to fill the hole left by Siriki Diabate in the middle. Arciniega enrolled early, and is already on the Orange campus.
Commitment Article

Jonathan Burton
Position:
Offensive Tackle
School:
Fork Union Military Academy
Notable:
A raw but talented prospect, Burton committed to Syracuse just prior to the coaching chaos that ensued after Doug Marrone left for the Buffalo Bills. Burton stuck with his commitment, however, and has a lot of potential. His 6-foot-8, 310-pound frame gives the new staff plenty to work with. Likely a project, Burton will look to work on his technique to develop into a contributor for the Orange.

Darius Kelly
Position:
Safety
School:
Pima College
Notable:
Kelly joins the Orange in a position of need with the departure of Dontez Ford. Kelly possesses the speed and skill set to contribute right away. He had a long, difficult journey to arrive at the major division one level, and is excited to start his Syracuse career.
Signing Day Article

Josh Kirkland
Position:
Outside Linebacker
School:
Butler County Community College
Notable:
Kirkland joins Syracuse as one of several JUCO prospects looking to make an immediate impact. A quick edge rusher, Kirkland will have an adjustment coming from a 3-4 scheme and joining Syracuse's attacking 4-3 system. The 6-foot-3 linebacker will look to figure his way into the linebacker rotation while also contributing on special teams.
Commitment Article

John Miller
Position:
Offensive Guard
School:
Los Angeles Harbor College
Notable:
Miller comes in as one of several options to replace Zack Chibane as the starting left guard. He will be competing with youngsters Omari Palmer and Ivan Foy. However, if the guard spot doesn't work out, he is versatile enough to move to center where he played at the JUCO level. In that scenario, he would redshirt in 2013.
Commitment Article

Trevon Trejo
Position:
Defensive End
School:
Golden West College
Notable:
Trejo is the second defensive end to come out of the JUCO ranks in consecutive years. He chose Syracuse over an offer from Michigan State and calls the Orange a dream school of sorts. Despite the new coaching staff, Trejo loves what Syracuse has to offer, and is working hard to make an immediate impact.
Signing Day Article

Corey Cooper
Position:
Wide Receiver
School:
Milbrook High School
Notable:
The new Syracuse staff made the wide receiver position a big priority. They were able to grab 3-star Corey Cooper out of Raleigh (NC). With his combination of speed and athleticism, he has a lot of potential to contribute at Syracuse for years to come.
Signing Day Article

Alex Hayes
Position:
Offensive Lineman
School:
Tucker High School
Notable:
Offensive line depth is critical in college football. Syracuse added a talented player at that position in Tucker (GA) product Alex Hayes. Hayes started his recruitment late, but it wasn't long before he knew Syracuse was the place for him.
Signing Day Article

Austin Wilson
Position:
Quarterback
School:
East Pennsboro High School
Notable:
The Orange needed to add quarterback talent in the 2013 class to compete for the starting job right away and in the future. They did that very early with Enola (PA) product Austin WIlson. Despite the coaching change, Wilson remained solid to Syracuse and has signed to make it official.
Signing Day Article

Isaiah Johnson
Position:
Defensive End
School:
Tri-State Christian Academy
Notable:
Johnson has been one of the most committed and vocal prospects in Syracuse's 2013 class despite the coaching change. The 2-star DE has now joined the Orange officially.
Signing Day Article

Mitch Kimble
Position:
Quarterback
School:
Jersey Comm High School
Notable:
When Syracuse lost Zach Allen to TCU, the new staff worked fast and furious to add another quarterback to their 2013 class. They were able to find Jerseyville (IL) product Mitch Kimble who committed after visits to Syracuse and N.C. State.
Signing Day Article

Chauncey Scissum
Position:
Corner Back
School:
Rush-Henrietta High School
Notable:
The local defensive back had an interesting journey to joining Syracuse's 2013 class. But he does so in a defensive backfield that needs depth and talent. He adds both and is excited to start his Syracuse career.
Signing Day Article

Corey Winfield
Position:
Wide Receiver
School:
Riverview Gardens High School
Notable:
Winfield was tempted by a late Missour offer, but his love for the Syracuse coaches kept him Orange. The talented wide receiver brings size and speed to Central New York.
Signing Day Article

Aaron Batten
Position:
Tight End
School:
Dade Christian School
Notable:
When Louie Addazio transferred to Boston College to join his father, the Orange wanted to add a tight end to bolster its depth. They were able to find one in Aaron Batten, who also has the versatility to play defensive end. He brings a great combination of size and speed to Syracuse.
Signing Day Article

Tyler Provo
Position:
Tight End
School:
American Heritage School
Notable:
Tyler Provo was an early commit to Syracuse, following the legacy of his brother Nick. Even with the chaos of the coaching change, he never waivered in his Orange pledge.
Signing Day Article

Marqez Hodge
Position:
Linebacker
School:
Miami Central High School
Notable:
One of the quietest commits in Syracuse's 2013 class, Hodge comes from a storied Miami (FL) high school that produces division one talent. Hodge will look to make an impact right away as a versatile linebacker.
Signing Day Article

Wayne Williams
Position:
Defensive Tackle
School:
ASA College
Notable:
Williams is a confident, outspoken player to say the least. One of the more charismatic prospects in Syracuse's 2013 class, he could make an instant impact clogging up running lanes for ACC opponents.
Signing Day Article

Kendall Moore
Position:
Offensive Tackle
School:
Simeon Vocational High School
Notable:
Moore was the latest addition to the verbal commitments for Syracuse. He announced at an event at his high school the day prior to national signing day. With his size and strength, Moore has a very high upside.
