A raw but talented prospect, Burton committed to Syracuse just prior to the coaching chaos that ensued after Doug Marrone left for the Buffalo Bills. Burton stuck with his commitment, however, and has a lot of potential. His 6-foot-8, 310-pound frame gives the new staff plenty to work with. Likely a project, Burton will look to work on his technique to develop into a contributor for the Orange. |

Miller comes in as one of several options to replace Zack Chibane as the starting left guard. He will be competing with youngsters Omari Palmer and Ivan Foy. However, if the guard spot doesn’t work out, he is versatile enough to move to center where he played at the JUCO level. In that scenario, he would redshirt in 2013. |
