West Virginia Offers Trout

Lancaster (OH) offensive tackle Kyle Trout has quickly risen burst onto the recruiting scene. The junior continues to add to his offer list, with the latest coming Monday evening from West Virginia.

Kyle Trout has quickly become a name to know around the Midwest. The offensive tackle holds offers from Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan State, Ohio, Pittsburgh and Toledo. On Monday night, he added his first Big 12 offer.

"West Virginia did offer me," said Trout Monday evening. "I just got off the phone with Coach Bedenbaugh. He said that they are losing a lot of linemen and need big guys like me to fill in."

Trout says that he hadn't been in contact much with the Mountaineers before, but is excited to know more.

"I don't know a lot about them other than they moved from the Big East and now are really undersized compared to other Big 12 teams. I'm pretty interested in them but will need to take more visits."

Speaking of visits, Trout will be in Columbus this weekend to watch Ohio State take on Michigan.

"I want to see the offensive line perform well in a tight game and see how loud the stadium gets."
