Cincinnati offers Terrence Alexander

2014 CB Terrence Alexander from national powerhouse John Curtis Christian collected his sixth offer on Sunday from the Cincinnati Bearcats.

Terrence Alexander was offered by Cincinnati on Sunday afternoon.

"Coach Roy Manning is recruiting me," Alexander said. "He said they need DBs, and I could come in and play a big role as a freshman. He's watched all my film - and liked it.

"He had seen more film of me on Saturday, and he liked how I also play special teams. He talked about their new uniforms. He also said they're located close to Kentucky, and that it's not as cold as people think in Cincinnati."

Alexander hopes to visit the Bearcats.

"I want to see all the schools that are recruiting me," he said. "I want to see how it looks with playing time (how the depth chart stacks up).

"I'm open to redshirting if that's the best situation. If that happens I would get a chance to know the system well after watching and learning for a year."

Alexander attended LSU's home game vs. Alabama on Saturday.

"It was a real good game," he said. "It was crazy. Jalen Mills from LSU played pretty good, and DeMarcus Milliner from Alabama played pretty good. Coach Frank (Wilson) asked if I'm coming to their next game (vs. Mississippi State)."

The junior is unsure if he'll attend LSU/MSU. His thoughts are currently tuned into this week's first-round playoff game vs. Pope John Paul II of Slidell.

"They have a pretty good quarterback," Alexander said of the No. 32 Jaguars. "They pass a lot. Their main running play is pretty much the quarterback scramble."

John Curtis is seeded No. 1 in Class 2A. The Patriots are ranked second in the nation by FOX Sports Next.

Alexander also holds offers from Ole Miss, Tennessee, Stanford, Vanderbilt and Tulane.
