After practice on Wednesday, I was able to talk with Cincinnati defensive back Arryn Chenault on his recent string of solid games and the rest of the season.

Q: How has your solid play the past few games helped your confidence going forward?

A: "It helped my confidence big time. It gave me confidence knowing I can play with these guys, and being a first year starter, you need confidence."

Q: Is it hard not to get caught up in the hype with the type of season you guys are having so far?

A: "No, it's not hard. The great teams, like the Alabamas, they don't get caught up in it, they just play every game like it's a big game. Coach Jones is instilling in us the notion of not getting caught up in the hype. Just go out and get better every day."

Q: Who is the toughest quarterback you guys have faced so far this season?

A: "Zac Dysert. Bar none. He's going to be a great quarterback for a long time. Dysert was making the calls at the line of scrimmage, changing plays. It was kind of like a Peyton Manning type, it's something I haven't seen in a long time."

Q: What is it like being able to take down Miami (OH) and ring that Liberty Bell for the 7th straight time?

A: "It was a great feeling. People think that we don't look at Miami anymore because we've won seven straight times, but I take that personally. They don't like us and we feel the same way. Every time we play them, it gets intense. We just like keeping that bell in Cincinnati, there's no better feeling."
