Coombs leaves for Ohio State

BearcatInsider has confirmed that Associate Head Coach Kerry Coombs will join the coaching staff at Ohio State

Cincinnati associate head coach Kerry Coombs will be announced soon as the defensive backs coach at The Ohio State University.

He was recently named the defensive passing game coordinator and was the defensive backs coach for the Bearcats. He was also in charge of recruiting players from the Cincinnati area.

Coombs was one of the few holdovers that remained on the staff when Butch Jones took over from Brian Kelly. Recommended Stories
