Munchie Legaux
BCI 2011 Ranking: #20
Position: Receiver
Experience: Sophomore
Why he made the List: Munchie could be a wildcard for this team. He spent a lot of time last season learning the offense as a quarterback before starting the final game of the season at receiver. A high school QB, Legaux could make a move back if no one seizes the opportunity to back-up Collaros.
Dan Giordano
BCI 2011 Ranking: #19
Position: Defensive Lineman
Experience: Redshirt Junior
Why he made the List: He was third on the season last season with 4.5 sacks and more production will be expected from him to boost the Bearcats’ defense. A two-year letterwinner, started the last 11 games of last season. Giordano, while solid, will be aided by less snaps.
John Hughes
BCI 2011 Ranking: #18
Position: Defensive Lineman
Experience: Redshirt Senior
Why he made the List: There are a lot of members of the offensive/defensive lines on this list and that is simply because the Bearcats need to get better in the trenches. Hughes started all 12 games, and is another player that would benefit from less snaps. He was another solid performer last year.
Evan Davis
BCI 2011 Ranking: #17
Position: Offensive Lineman
Experience: Senior
Why he made the List: Pinch me if you heard this before, but the Bearcats were next to last in the BIG EAST in sacks allowed. After starting the first game of the season, Davis appeared in just five games for the rest of the season. The Colerain product has been on the cusp for the last two seasons, now it’s time for him to take the proverbial bull by the horns.
Camerron Cheatham
BCI 2011 Ranking: #16
Position: Defensive back
Experience: Redshirt Junior
Why he made the List: He started the last eight and nine total games last season. The competition in the defensive secondary will be heated this fall as the Bearcats look to improve from a season ago.
